About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, develop and maintain internal and external relationships/partnerships
  • Provide leadership and direction for the business development team
  • Maintain accountability for regional growth and revenue objectives
  • Drive alignment with the company's sales strategy and organizational goals
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and business results
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners
  • Facilitate the development of new partnerships and the company; facilitate and remains involved in the implementation process ensuring a smooth transition of new client programs
  • Develop detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations targeting specific needs which may be opportunities for marketing company programs
  • Ensure the identification of expertise required addressing individual prospect requirements; identify resources for prospect solicitation and service teams
  • Utilize the appropriate national resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations
  • Manage the design of service programs ensuring client need fulfillment
  • Develop and implement an annual sales and service plan including identification of potential client prospects, their needs, and the methodology of presenting company's ability to fulfill those needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management preferred
  • Licenses as required
  • Possession of, or progress towards, CPCU and/or ARM designation required
  • Ten (10) years of relationship building in the claims management or risk management area or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
