About the role
- Develops plans, designs, resource requirements, and cost estimates for enterprise high availability multi-platform networks
- Plan and coordinate cross-functional work, change management and resource availability
- Monitor systems operations and adjust operational plans accordingly
- Design and implement complex network configurations and network architecture
- Serves as a top network engineering expert resource for core routing, switching, and network security
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related technical field
- 7+ of experience with Service Provider networking or general telecommunications experience
- CCNA or equivalent is required.
- Advanced enterprise networking fundamentals, including complex switching and routing knowledge
- High availability system designs skills
- Advanced network security design skills
- Internet services and protocols knowledge
- Advanced network diagnostics capabilities
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
