About the role

  • As a Founding Frontend Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our initial team, playing a pivotal role in designing and building our core product from the ground up.
  • Enable long-horizon task completion by building the foundational UX patterns for working with multi-turn, multi-tool agentic systems.
  • Empower actuaries and underwriters to work on thousands of documents in parallel by giving them access to coding and coding agents.
  • Architect and implement our frontend stack using modern frameworks (React, TypeScript, Tailwind) with a focus on performance and maintainability.
  • Get your hands into the backend & core agentic platform as well! It’s all typescript.
  • Collaborate closely with design, backend, and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end experiences.
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on features, balancing speed and quality in a startup environment.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building production-grade web applications with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
  • Care about performance, accessibility, and pixel-perfect implementation
  • Strong UI/UX sensibilities and enjoy collaborating with designers to ship delightful experiences
  • (Bonus) Have experience with data visualization, realtime systems, or working on complex workflow tools.
