About the role

  • Develop and maintain back-end applications in PHP (7.4+) using MVC architecture, ensuring code quality, organization, and performance.
  • Maintain and evolve legacy systems, performing structural refactorings to improve readability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain front-end interfaces using ExtJS and/or Vue.js, ensuring a good user experience and efficient integration with the back end.
  • Build, integrate, and maintain secure, high-performance REST APIs for communication between systems and services.
  • Analyze existing code to identify improvement opportunities, standardization needs, and technical debt reduction.
  • Contribute to software engineering best practices such as clean code, code reviews, testing, and version control.
  • Participate in defining technical solutions together with product and technology teams, contributing technical insight and improvement proposals.
  • Investigate and propose improvements to application performance, stability, and quality based on usage data and system behavior.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the system architecture, supporting technological modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the team to strengthen a culture of quality, security, and development best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or related fields (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar).
  • Strong experience developing in PHP (7.4+) using MVC architecture.
  • Experience maintaining, refactoring, and modernizing legacy systems.
  • Experience with JavaScript, ExtJS, or modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js).
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
  • Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipeline automation.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with or experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of Clean Code principles and software architecture best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, or similar).
  • Experience analyzing and improving existing code, identifying refactoring and standardization opportunities.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or financial workflows is considered a plus.
