About the role

  • As an Engineer in Training at Encompass Energy Services you will be involved in Civil Engineering, Land Development, GIS, and Surveying projects.
  • Research permit requirements for different jurisdictions.
  • Setting up and designing permits and HDD drawings for senior staff members to review.
  • Designing of grading for well pads, valve sites, and access roads as part of weekly responsibilities.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, clients, and public agencies.
  • Reporting to project leads on the status of tasks.

Requirements

  • Prior knowledge of oil and gas pipelines, waterlines, well pads, and valve sites preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering an ABET school
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be accountable and dependable
  • Engineer in Training Certificate
  • Ability to work in a remote capacity
