About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with the DoD to design and support the deployment of a reliable, secure network to support critical missions
  • Collaborate with other SMEs, customers, vendors, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements
  • Share your expertise during the planning of the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components
  • Resolve interoperability issues across platforms to support the acquisition of hardware
  • Support the team with growing their knowledge base by automating networking systems, modernizing existing solutions, and leveraging cloud technologies while broadening the scope of network engineering work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience designing and delivering technical solutions across multiple disciplines for large, complex organizations
  • 8+ years of experience in network architecture and design
  • 4+ years of experience with cybersecurity
  • Experience architecting Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207 and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture
  • Experience selecting, designing, and implementing security tools and capabilities for large, complex federal or commercial organizations
  • Experience leading product selection initiatives
  • Ability to work with and guide senior leaders and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
