  • Advise commanders on the employment of irregular forces, surrogate elements, and partner ‑ nation assets
  • Plan activities that counter proxy forces, insurgents, and adversarial influence networks and organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with special operations or operational planning
  • Experience assessing operational environments to identify irregular threats and partner‑force capabilities
  • Experience integrating irregular warfare principles into joint or interagency planning processes
  • Experience developing courses of action employing unconventional or asymmetric approaches
  • Experience synchronizing activities across information, cyber, psychological, or civil‑military operations
  • Ability to fuse intelligence analysis into operational design and planning
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience with irregular warfare or Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience with irregular warfare
