About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape the integration of irregular warfare concepts across joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational planning efforts
- Assess complex operational environments to identify irregular threats, partner ‑ force capabilities, and opportunities to create strategic advantage
- Develop courses of action that apply unconventional, asymmetric, and information ‑ focused approaches
- Synchronize activities across information, cyber, psychological, civil ‑ military, and influence operations
- Collaborate with intelligence, operations, and interagency partners to fuse analytic insights into operational design
- Advise commanders on the employment of irregular forces, surrogate elements, and partner ‑ nation assets
- Plan activities that counter proxy forces, insurgents, and adversarial influence networks and organizations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with special operations or operational planning
- Experience assessing operational environments to identify irregular threats and partner‑force capabilities
- Experience integrating irregular warfare principles into joint or interagency planning processes
- Experience developing courses of action employing unconventional or asymmetric approaches
- Experience synchronizing activities across information, cyber, psychological, or civil‑military operations
- Ability to fuse intelligence analysis into operational design and planning
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience with irregular warfare or Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience with irregular warfare
