About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support projects from concept to completion with careful analysis and effective communication
- Implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Space portfolio
- Review risks, assist in contract management, and track project costs
- Help with tactical planning and regularly interact with customers, engineers, and program managers
- Translate complex technical exchanges into clear project milestones
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience supporting Department of War or industry information technology programs
- 3+ years of experience in technical project management or operations, including supporting highly self-sufficient technical teams
- Experience using project management tools, including PowerPoint to communicate complex ideas
- Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and Lean Portfolio Management practices
- Ability to self-start, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate across multiple organizations and teams, author briefing, and formulate responses to data calls
- Secret clearance
