Key responsibilities & impact
  • manage the integration and compatibility of datalink systems
  • use engineering skills to transform Mission Systems requirements to improve datalink performance
  • support the Mission Systems team in working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms
  • assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in datalink systems
  • Knowledge of systems integration challenges
  • Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field
  • Experience with modern Navy datalink systems (Nice to have)
  • Experience with the SETR process (Nice to have)
  • Experience with Datalink compliance testing, including NCTSI (Nice to have)
  • Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting (Nice to have)
  • Ability to analyze datalink designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration ease (Nice to have)
  • Top Secret clearance (Nice to have)
  • Master's degree in a scientific field (Nice to have)
