contribute to enhancing training, analysis, and decision-making capabilities across the Air Force enterprise
design and implement advanced models to evaluate system performance and support strategic decision-making
identify system features and tactical approaches that enhance survivability and operational effectiveness within simulated environments
support the acquisition community in making smarter, data-driven investment choices for next-generation warfare technologies
Requirements
5+ years of experience within Department of Defense simulation and training programs
Experience with a variety of COTS and GOTS M & S and data science tools, including the Modern Air Combat Environment ( MACE ), Mission Object Configuration Tool ( MOCT ), or Virtual Reality Scene Generator ( VRSG )
Experience with scripting or programming languages, including C, C++, MATLAB, or Python
Experience with modeling tools and languages such as Simulink, Python, or C++, for developing and analyzing simulations
Knowledge of combat weapon systems, ground-based radar technologies, and surface-to-air platforms
Knowledge of standards such as High-Level Architecture ( HLA ), Distributed Interactive Simulation ( DIS ), and Open Mission Systems ( OMS )
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or CS field
Information Assurance Training ( IAT ) Level 2 Certification
