Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee a varied portfolio of research and data science initiatives supporting Army customers
Responsible for end-to-end program execution, including managing budget, deliverables, subcontractors, and geographically distributed teams
Provide strong operational leadership, ensure effective staffing, clear scope definition, and consistent delivery
Oversee the delivery of data engineering, data science, research, and enterprise platform IT operations
Partner with customers to support operating an efficient and effective analytical or AI platform
Drive performance, shape strategy, identify innovative solutions, and support the growth and sustainment of the program
Lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs such as data platforms, engineering, data science, enterprise analytics, and solution architecture
8+ years of experience building and sustaining partnerships with government organizations and senior government executives
8+ years of experience with leadership, including leading dispersed cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, architecture, analytics, and AI / ML, including subcontractors
8+ years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics
Experience leveraging client relationships, market knowledge, and government acquisition best practices
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application within complex research and data science environments
Ability to manage large programs and interface with senior DoD clients
Ability to recruit, hire, and strategically staff high performing teams aligned to mission needs and evolving project demands
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
