About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform a wide variety of contract administration functions, including proposal development, cost strategies, modifications, review and negotiation of terms and conditions, and contract compliance
  • Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements and the recommended pricing approach
  • Provide advice and counsel on risk issues, proposal strategies, and customer relationship management
  • Negotiate and administer contracts independently with U.S. government customers and subcontracts with large and small business contractors across the breadth of contract types
  • Negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements, and organizational conflict of interest plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with contract pre-proposal efforts, RFP or RFQ support, proposal support and submission, and post-award contract administration
  • Experience working directly with industry or government procurement officials
  • Experience with different contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time and Materials, or Incentive Fee contracts
  • Experience reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation, in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Experience negotiating contracts with industry partners, including non-disclosure and teaming agreements
  • Ability to interpret federal regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Ability to manage multiple critical internal and external deadlines
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with contract management, or Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience with contract management
