About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Thoroughly test software and work with developers to ensure best software releases
- Create a test plan with test cases based on user stories
- Generate data and implement test cases to observe software performance
- Document results and communicate defects to the development team
- Document various business processes from both user and developer perspectives
- Automate continuous security and performance testing
- Monitor health of the system
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- 3+ years of experience executing comprehensive test strategies for software systems and software development projects and practices
- Experience delivering client-facing documentation and user guides
- Experience testing Web-based applications
- Experience with test automation
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and using bug tracking tools such as Jira
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire date
