About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze current and future Air Force nuclear weapon systems for Nuclear Safety Design Certification
- Transform the Air Force’s nuclear surety practices
- Learn about multiple nuclear weapon systems, both current and future
- Find evidence of potential nuclear surety impacts on nuclear weapon systems
- Support the Air Force in ensuring a safe and secure nuclear deterrent
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with analysis of electrical systems, including as part of undergraduate work
- Knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering principles
- Ability to work in a close-knit team including the client
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience designing electrical or electronic systems (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of industry or military electrical engineering standards (Nice to Have)
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills (Nice to Have)
- TS/SCI clearance (Nice to Have)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Nice to Have)
