About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Combine technical skills with big picture thinking to modernize a client critical mission system
Transition mission data flows from legacy systems to a modernized data flow architecture
Define technical and process improvements for improved mission performance and compliance
Define improved decision logic and rule sets for data flow management
Work as part of an Agile team supporting an IC core mission
Interact directly with customers to develop protocol processing solutions
Support analysts in target tracking, analysis, and report writing
Help modernize software development practices and tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with developing or working with software in a LINUX environment
Experience with C++ and Java programming languages
Experience with scripting languages, including Shell, JavaScript, Bash, or Python
Experience in network programming, including socket development or IP based applications
Experience with Git
Experience with Docker
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience with software engineering, OR 19+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree
