About the role
- Implements an automated test structure in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Directly contribute to the development of automated component, system integration (E2E), regression, backward compatibility and performance tests through continuous integration.
- Executes automated and manual test suites and ensure overall system quality prior to production release.
- Reports defects and issues to development teams and manage defects through to successful resolution.
- Creates software test artifacts including test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
- Continually seek opportunities to improve, optimize and simplify existing testing processes and methodologies.
- Works together with relevant teams and departments to improve product quality.
- Provides training, mentorship, and support to quality engineering team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core Quality processes.
- Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- 5+ years’ experience developing software or test automation frameworks using two of the programming languages – Java, Ruby, Node.js or Objective C. Java is preferred.
- Prior experience with established Software development and monitoring tools (GitLab, GIT, Eclipse/Android Studio/X-Code, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, AppDynamics).
- Experience with CI/CD and integrating automated testing.
- Experience implementing test automation frameworks for API, web or mobile platforms (hybrid, iOS or Android) using any test automation tools– Appium, Selenium, Web driver, Rest-Assured API, and Cucumber.
- AWS or Cloud experience.
- Kubernetes.
- Background and drug screen.
