Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist a team of procurement professionals by managing a portfolio of subcontract agreements and direct procurement requirements
  • Balance multiple priorities to help clients address their current and emerging needs effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
  • Ensure sourcing requirements are met promptly and to high standards
  • Work directly with leaders throughout the organization on procurement activities
  • Support procurement strategies aligning with the organization’s goals
  • Meet performance expectations ensuring alignment with the market account managers’ business strategies
  • Analyze your portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational efficiency
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, supply chain, subcontracts, purchasing, logistics, or operations
  • 3+ years of experience in federal procurement or subcontract management
  • Experience working directly with suppliers and their sub-tiers with product delivery
  • Experience with contract management software and tools, and procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems and e-procurement platforms
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter
  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements
  • Ability to manage work efficiently
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
