- Develop, modernize, and sustain secure and resilient network capabilities
- Improve reliability, availability, and performance across mission-focused environments
- Contribute to engineering efforts including implementation planning, test activities, and upgrades
- Apply knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, and IP engineering
- Collaborate with a team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with IP networking design and troubleshooting
- Experience architecting and designing complex network systems
- Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPv6 or IPSec VPNs
- Knowledge of routing protocols including MPLS, BGP, or Multicast
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
