About the role
- thoroughly test software and work with developers to ensure team releases the best software possible
- develop a test plan with test cases based on user stories
- generate data and implement test cases to observe software performance
- document results and communicate defects to the development team
- automate continuous security and performance testing
- monitor the health of systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and advancing support of multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks
- 5+ years of experience with designing network architecture and creating network architecture products to support testing
- 5+ years of experience coordinating, planning, conducting, and reporting findings of lab-based testing efforts
- 5+ years of experience with agile testing
- 5+ years of experience with layer 2 and layer 3 networking
- 5+ years of experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network and security equipment and solutions
- 5+ years of experience with routers, switches, and protocols utilized within DoD SATCOM
- 5+ years of experience with classified networks
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
