About the role
- Apply your theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics to your client’s programs and technical problems
- Work with engineers and government client to design, develop, and test technical solutions for radio frequency (RF) system requirements
- Provide technical RF solutions and help build systems
- Apply electrical and electronic theory to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components
- Develop, prepare, or apply engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures
- Provide data and inputs to senior team members for reports or presentations of technical data and information
- Perform tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience troubleshooting and solutioning DoD networks or communication systems
- 1+ years of experience in Project-25 compatible public-safety radio communications sites and systems
- Experience integrating RF systems into mobile and transit case systems
- Experience applying electrical and electronic theory to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
- Experience working in a team environment
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office tool suite
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelors in a CS, IT, Engineering, or Business field.
