About the role
- Manage field logistics and ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents for operational support
- Oversee project work accuracy and monitor costs
- Prepare and approve supplier purchase orders
- Validate, reconcile, and maintain accurate billing quantities
- Identify out of scope work for change orders
- Produce drafts and maintain project logs
- Schedule and manage utility meetings
- Prepare change orders and manage trucking logs
- Conduct on-site safety observations and prepare safety/QA/QC plans
- Track production and assist with estimating duties
- Participate in business development events
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of estimating and managing projects experience in related scope of work, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience using construction software is a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Valid motor vehicle record appropriate for the position.
