About the role

  • work closely with product managers and government leadership to understand mission goals and user requirements
  • design and deliver large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are visually refined
  • contribute across the full spectrum of the digital lifecycle, including user research, interface design, accessibility compliance, rapid prototyping, and front-end development
  • combine UX thinking with strong engineering practices to ensure every solution is user-centered, compliant, and aligned with national security objectives

Requirements

  • Experience developing high-quality front-end applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS or SCSS, and a JavaScript framework, such as Vue, React, Angular, or Next
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.x, Section 508 compliance, responsive design, and front-end best practices in secure government environments
  • Knowledge of AWS services
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects across locations and charge codes while managing expectations and delivering polished, high-quality results
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree
