Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight for operations, maintenance, repair, and construction work
Oversee and coordinate activities with trade shops
Plan, conduct, and direct projects or major phases of significant projects
Manage project design or construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight
Manage and evaluate construction contractor performance
Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel
Provide official weekly project status reports
Assist with acquisition planning, execution, and administration
Provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction issues

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a facilities professional
2+ years of experience in a mechanical systems or construction field
Experience with the implementation or execution of design documents
Experience reviewing design documentation and identifying deficiencies, inaccuracies, and noncompliance issues with the design intent
Ability to evaluate conditions and draft engineering memos that provide sound engineering guidance consistent with industry best practices and all federal, state, and local codes
Ability to review and perform engineering calculations
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
