About the role

  • Develop, manage, and secure a container platform
  • Use technical skills to affect mission-forward change
  • Support team in informing strategy and design
  • Ensure standards are met throughout the containerization process
  • Recommend resources for clients to manage and adopt containers
  • Strengthen DevOps skills while supporting development of cloud platforms

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity
  • 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams in an SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering role
  • Experience with Kubernetes administration and application deployment paradigms
  • Developing, managing, and securing cloud-native solutions with a focus on containers in AWS
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and updating Infrastructure-as-Code solutions such as AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, or Terraform
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals
  • Experience implementing a platform compliant with standards such as FedRAMP Moderate, HITRUST, PCI DSS, or SOC2
  • Experience with hands-on-keyboard engineering implementations
  • Experience automating tasks of multiple levels of complexity
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps, or 9+ years in lieu of a degree
