About the role

  • Create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities
  • Help multiple teams modernize their infrastructure by transitioning from traditional virtual machine environments to scalable, secure cloud architectures
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s cloud strategy
  • Design and evaluate implementation options that balance performance, cost, complexity, and compliance
  • Recommend tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources
  • Lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud

Requirements

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, and Bicep
  • Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, and containerized workload orchestration
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and monitoring stacks, such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and cost management tools across multiple clouds
  • Experience in architecting cloud solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of native cloud services for compute, networking, identity, and storage
  • Knowledge of computer networking protocols and principles
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience with cloud or 16+ years of experience with cloud in lieu of a degree
