About the role
- supports the planning of multiple simultaneous events for a U.S. Army client
- assists with coordination and execution of logistics for in-person and virtual events
- designs, develops, and produces a variety of internal and external communications and events materials
- applies detail-oriented skills, balances priorities, and contributes to a team that fosters creativity and growth
- maintains a driven, collaborative, and strategic outlook, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge
- develops or contributes solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
- works independently with some guidance
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the strategic communications field
- 2+ years of experience with event planning and execution
- experience supporting and executing in-person and virtual meetings and events
- experience supporting special events at the local, regional, and national levels
- ability to manage multiple competing tasks and events, prioritize as necessary, and deliver to a variety of stakeholders
- ability to work across organizational levels, and take complex subjects and make them easily understandable
- ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- bachelor's degree
