About the role
- Support pre- and post-award DoD contracts
- Work closely with defense clients in support of the warfighter
- Lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the government
- Oversee full Request For Proposal (RFP) packages, including Performance Work Statements
- Oversee the development of procurement request packages
- Responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents
- Provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience supporting U.S. government contracts and customers
- Knowledge of DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree and 6+ years of experience in program and project management, or 10+ years of experience in program and project management in lieu of a degree
- Experience with weapon systems
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- Top Secret clearance
- Project Management Professional Certification
