About the role
- support a program office by overseeing multiple capital infrastructure design and construction projects across the client’s network
- support the mission of a program office with planning, acquisition, and implementation of projects
- manage data sets and data entry within SharePoint and Microsoft Project
- utilize Power BI to summarize and communicate status and trends with the program office and external stakeholders
- ensure the program achieves its goals and meets quality standards
- influence a meaningful mission while learning to develop and maintain program strategy
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with construction project management
- experience managing infrastructure design or construction projects in a government healthcare or research environment
- experience tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress
- experience leading or supporting senior leadership presentations, data calls, and interagency collaboration
- ability to identify and mitigate risks, including with infrastructure space, power, HVAC, elevator systems, and fire code
- ability to act as a liaison to positively influence stakeholder performance, articulate agency and program guidance or requirements, and monitor best practices for cost and schedule
- ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- experience with lifecycle and project management methodologies
- experience using Microsoft Office software
- experience in the VA
- experience with government acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)
- experience in executing project management and oversight of physical infrastructure build-outs associated with capital infrastructure and IT projects
- experience with supporting projects in electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure, including power, HVAC, cabling, and fiber
- experience managing and maintaining project milestones and statuses for a large portfolio of dispersed projects
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, Systems, or Business
- Project Management Certification such as PMP, CCM, CHFM, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile Certification
