- Lead vibration analysis of space vehicle and deployable structures
- Develop and validate high-fidelity finite element models and perform simulations to predict structural response under dynamic loading
- Design passive and active control vibration mitigation solutions
- Develop verification and diagnostic tests to verify mechanical performance such as acoustic vibe
- Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with vibration and shock requirements
- Contribute to system-level design reviews, risk assessments, and certification processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in vibration analysis and space vehicle or aerospace systems
- 2+ years of experience with dynamic simulation platforms such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or MATLAB
- Experience in modal and harmonic analysis, finite element modeling, and structural dynamics
- Experience with launch vibration environments, space deployments, and aeroelastic phenomena
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
