About the role

  • Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs while complying with the organization’s strategies, business goals, and key ethical considerations.
  • Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge.
  • Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Work independently with some guidance.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working with algorithms, artificial intelligence, advanced data structures, databases, machine learning models, ETL processes, or MLOps to produce analytical or visual products
  • knowledge of data formats, such as JSON, Parquet, Avro, or CSV
  • ability to report findings and research clearly and concisely for clients
  • ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • experience working in a team environment for Git, GitLab, or GitHub
  • experience scaling data engineering across distributed computing clusters, including Apache Spark, Nifi, Dask, Airflow, or Luigi
  • experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, HBase, Accumulo, Cassandra, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Pinecone, DuckDB, Neo4j, AWS DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
  • ability to work with Dataframes and SQL utilizing Spark, PySpark, Python Pandas, or Polars
  • AWS or Google Certification such as Data Analytics, Machine Learning Engineer, or Solutions Architect Certifications
  • ML Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Software Engineering, Web Development, or Data Science Certification
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 CISSP Certification
