About the role
- Support the Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards (SCARS) Team
- Improve cybersecurity and promote greater standardization of simulator components
- Leverage a modular open systems architecture
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to transform operational challenges into effective technical solutions
- Utilize proficiency in data analysis, optimization, and high-performance computing
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training environments
- Experience in applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF), implementing DoD security controls, and supporting system accreditation
- Knowledge of High-Level Architecture, Distributed Interactive Simulation, and Open Mission Systems standards
- Ability to architect, integrate, and manage complex systems across distributed simulation environments
- Ability to provide constructive feedback on SCARS standards
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science field
- IAT Level II Certification
