About the role
- Support the Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards (SCARS) Team
- Improve cybersecurity and promote greater standardization of simulator components
- Leverage a modular open systems architecture
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Transform operational challenges into effective technical solutions
- Drive innovation and advance mission capabilities
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training environments
- Experience in applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Knowledge of High-Level Architecture, Distributed Interactive Simulation, and Open Mission Systems standards
- Ability to architect, integrate, and manage complex systems across distributed simulation environments
- Ability to provide constructive feedback on SCARS standards
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
- IAT Level II Certification
- Experience with Air Force or DOD acquisitions
