Professional Development Trainer
eDynamic LearningProfessional Development Trainer delivering engaging workshops for educators and school staff at eDynamic Learning. Involves both virtual and in-person training sessions tailored to district needs.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate eDL professional development workshops for school districts, including: Virtual, live webinar trainings
- Face-to-face workshops
- On demand video recordings
- Use a consultative approach to demonstrate how eDL’s courses and services support instructional goals, district initiatives, and student outcomes.
- Deliver engaging, professional, and well-organized sessions aligned to eDL quality standards.
- Review notes and district background information prior to each engagement.
- Customize workshop materials as needed to address district goals, initiatives, and challenges, using eDL-provided templates and approved resources.
- Plan sessions using eDL’s professional development modules to ensure consistency, flexibility, and alignment across workshops.
- Partner with eDL staff and the Professional Development Scheduler to ensure smooth planning and delivery of sessions.
- Provide ongoing feedback and recommendations to support continuous improvement of eDL workshops and trainer resources.
- Participate in co-led trainings, onboarding activities, and periodic updates as requested. Training opportunities are scheduled by mutual agreement between the Trainer and eDL.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering professional development, instructional coaching, training, or facilitation for educators or school staff.
- Demonstrated experience working with K–12 school districts, online/blended learning programs, or digital curriculum providers.
- Experience facilitating both virtual and in-person professional learning sessions.
- Strong understanding of effective instructional practices, learning theories, and professional learning design.
- Comfort working in a consultative, client-facing role.
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to customize professional learning experiences to align with district goals and educator needs.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple trainings and preparation timelines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and responsiveness.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in dynamic training environments.
- High familiarity with multiple learning platforms (Google Classroom, Buzz, Canvas, and Schoology)
- Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and learning management systems.
- Comfort using presentation tools and digital resources to support instruction (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc).
