About the role

  • Partnering with clinical professionals to deliver patient-focused therapies including proctoring, training, and education
  • Training HCP customers and supporting clinical cases across Europe for a new Mitral transcatheter valve replacement system
  • Identify potential adoption strategies and responsible for upselling in key strategic accounts working with Business Managers
  • Act as a lead in providing education on two or more technologies or one highly specialized technology of assigned device(s), device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to investigational products and procedures including imaging through one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs
  • Develop and improve training curriculum, materials and tools based on clinical trial experience, EW guidelines and SOP
  • Responsible for certification of centers, physicians and other related staff, as well as EW personnel as outlined within EW SOP
  • Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable
  • Monitor clinical support activities, market changes and assigned accounts, and competitive activity with cross-functional teams
  • Other incidental duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field (Clinical, Imaging, Cardiology, Nursing,...)
  • Training experience in clinical / technical environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience required, with preference Mitral therapies
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Presentation and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Availability to travel extensively within the European Geography (up to 70% of the time)
  • Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology
  • Full understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Imaging analysis software skills (e.g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.) are preferred, but not required
