About the role

  • Manage development, design and implementation of compensation plans, clinical case coverage targets, and quota targets for the US sales and clinical team
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly variable compensation analyses and payments for US sales and clinical teams
  • Develop and provide analyses on field performance to sales leadership and HR
  • Assess field organization effectiveness and territory alignment and recommend changes
  • Define and deliver regular sales analytics, dashboards, reports and ad hoc analyses to provide insights into sales performance
  • Act as sales systems lead and create automated sales performance, territory management and reporting (CRM, ERP, BI tools)
  • Continuously work with IT to ensure system integrity and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain US pricing and rebate model and provide reporting on net ASP and rebated customers
  • Serve as key business representative for implementation and reconciliation of Model N revenue/rebate system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, IT, Finance) on forecasting supply, demand, financials and launches
  • Lead and provide guidance to team members on operational initiatives and continuous process improvements
  • Perform other incidental duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 10 years experience of previous related sales operations, business strategy and/or financial planning experience OR Master's Degree or equivalent in a related field and 8 years experience of previous related sales operations, business strategy and/or financial planning experience
  • Previous field sales experience
  • Proven successful project management skills with ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
  • Ability to think holistically and strategically
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others
  • Sound decision making capabilities and ability to take decisions in absence of consensus when necessary
  • Proven expertise on MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
  • Preferred expertise in related tools and applications (Oracle, JDE, MIDAS, ELBIS, Salesforce.com administration, QlikView development)
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented with strict attention to accuracy of data and analyses
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
