About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of global compliance policies and programs
- Proactively manage and evolve the global policy ecosystem
- Provide strategic direction for adherence to laws, regulations, and internal requirements
- Oversee global compliance programs and operations
- Define, develop, and maintain global compliance policies, procedures, and processes
- Oversee global implementation coordinating with regional Compliance teams
- Provide oversight for global compliance programs, including governance routines
- Analyze and present strategic recommendations to leadership
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Previous related experience in legal, internal audit, finance, and/or health care compliance, or equivalent work experience
- Master's Degree or equivalent in a related field (preferred)
- Juris Doctor and previous related experience in legal, internal audit, finance, and/or health care compliance (preferred)
- US State Bar Admission (preferred)
- Experience working in Healthcare Compliance in a large Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or Biotech company (preferred)
- Expert knowledge of global compliance laws, regulations, and requirements, including but not limited to anti-corruption, competition, healthcare compliance, public procurement, and export control
- Proven successful leadership and influence on compliance strategy
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) required; experience in JDE and SharePoint a plus
- Proven successful project management capabilities
- Occasional travel – domestic and international
