About the role
- Proactively design and implement provincial policy and access plans, aligned with Public Affairs and Business unit strategies
- Understand the issues and opportunities of the region
- Navigate the provincial health system and hold impactful relationships.
- Provide expertise and field intelligence on external access policy.
- Work cross-functionally and seamlessly with Public Affairs, clinical, regulatory, commercial and regional colleagues.
- Act as a subject matter expert on provincial policy matters.
- Create and drive health system solutions with provincial partners
- Represent Edwards on policy discussions with policymakers and influencers.
- Develop and maintain key HCP relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field with 10 years or Master's degree with 8 years of demonstrated experience in Western Canada
- Demonstrated healthcare experience in market access, government relations, public affairs with multinational medical device, biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies.
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
