About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Proactively design and implement provincial policy and access plans, aligned with Public Affairs and Business unit strategies
Understand the issues and opportunities of the region
Navigate the provincial health system and hold impactful relationships.
Provide expertise and field intelligence on external access policy.
Work cross-functionally and seamlessly with Public Affairs, clinical, regulatory, commercial and regional colleagues.
Act as a subject matter expert on provincial policy matters.
Create and drive health system solutions with provincial partners
Represent Edwards on policy discussions with policymakers and influencers.
Develop and maintain key HCP relationships.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in related field with 10 years or Master's degree with 8 years of demonstrated experience in Western Canada
Demonstrated healthcare experience in market access, government relations, public affairs with multinational medical device, biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies.
Fluency in English (written and oral).
