About the role

  • Identify potential adoption strategies.
  • Responsible for upselling in key strategic accounts, working in conjunction with Business Managers.
  • Serve as a lead in providing education on all aspects of two or more technologies—or one highly specialized technology—related to assigned device(s), including device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques for equipment, tools, and products required for device implants; include full certification for independent case support for field clinical specialists.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and hospital staff on all technical aspects related to investigational products and procedures, including imaging, by conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and structured in-service education programs for two or more technologies or one highly specialized technology.
  • Develop and improve training curricula, training materials, and training tools, based on clinical trial experience, Edwards Lifesciences (EW) guidelines, and SOPs.
  • Responsible for certification of centers, physicians, and other related staff, as well as EW personnel, as outlined within EW SOPs.
  • Validate software and hardware updates in the field, as applicable.
  • Monitor clinical support activities, changes in the market and assigned accounts, and competitive activity, in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales).
  • Perform other incidental duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Clinical, Imaging, Cardiology, Nursing, etc.).
  • Training experience in a clinical/technical environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related medical device and/or clinical experience required; preference for experience with Mitral therapies.
  • Proven proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Availability to travel extensively within Europe (up to 70% of the time).
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science, including cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology, and familiarity with the market terminology and applications relevant to Edwards Lifesciences.
  • Thorough understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documentation, device accountability, and adverse event reporting.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with imaging analysis software (e.g., 3mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle CVI, etc.) is preferred but not required.
