About the role
- Delivering training sessions to healthcare professionals on complex medical topics, new treatments, or medical devices.
- Contribute to the development of advanced training programs and initiatives based on emerging healthcare needs, including new tools.
- Collaborating with global training to ensure training materials align with regional goals and objectives.
- Maintain expertise with procedure support and other activities.
- Create and conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to other trainers on best practices and subject matter knowledge, including train-the-trainer sessions.
- Staying abreast of current research, industry trends, and regulatory changes to continually update training content
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in related field and 8 years of experience
- Certification in medical device training or relevant field experience
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office machinery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills including facilitating, influencing, and relationship management skills
- Possess extensive knowledge of cardiovascular principles and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science
- Full understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology including the applications and “language” of the market and Edwards Lifesciences
- Full understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
