About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review and peer-check mathematics lessons against Education Perfect's quality and instructional design standards
Verify mathematical accuracy, curriculum alignment and overall lesson quality across Years 7–12 content
Test lessons from a student's perspective, ensuring all questions, interactive activities, dynamic variables and AI-generated feedback function correctly
Build and quality check standard Desmos interactive elements, including graphs, lines and shapes
Verify that graphics, diagrams and other visual assets are correctly embedded and displayed on the platform
Identify issues, inconsistencies or improvement opportunities and provide clear, constructive feedback through Jira, Loom and other quality tools
Maintain accurate quality logs, review records and project documentation
Collaborate with writers, instructional designers, project leads and subject matter experts to continuously improve lesson quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong subject matter expertise in secondary school Mathematics (Years 7–12)
Experience teaching, reviewing, editing, writing or developing mathematics curriculum or educational content
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
A strong understanding of curriculum aligned learning and quality assurance processes
Confidence using digital platforms and learning new systems and tools quickly
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, specific and actionable feedback
Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a remote project team
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to consistently meet project deadlines
A continuous improvement mindset and genuine passion for creating exceptional educational experiences for students
