About the role

  • You plan, control and optimize the entire logistics chain — from goods receipt through warehousing & fulfillment to shipping.
  • You are responsible for national and international shipping processes, including delivery times, quality and costs.
  • You work closely with external fulfillment partners and manage them operationally.
  • You coordinate stock transfers to other marketplaces or international locations.
  • You manage special orders such as labeling, inserts, re‑packaging or promotional stock.
  • You optimize shipping notification emails in close collaboration with our email marketing team and automation setups.
  • You analyze relevant KPIs (e.g., delivery time, shipping costs, return rate) and derive concrete optimizations.
  • You further develop shipping packaging with a focus on efficiency and the customer experience.
  • You actively drive the optimization and automation of logistical processes.
  • You act as an interface between Purchasing, Fulfillment and Customer Care.
  • You ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are complied with (e.g., customs, dangerous goods, packaging regulations).

Requirements

  • IMPORTANT: Our logistics partners are located in Saarland.
  • Occasional on‑site visits are required.
  • Therefore it is important that your travel time to Saarbrücken and Lebach does not exceed 1.5 hours.
  • Completed vocational training or a degree with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain or a comparable field.
  • Several years of practical experience in logistics, ideally in an e‑commerce or fulfillment environment.
  • A deep, practical understanding of warehousing, shipping and returns processes — not just theoretical.
  • Routine use of ERP, WMS and shipping solutions in day‑to‑day operations.
  • A data‑driven working style and confidence in handling KPIs, analyses and tools such as Excel or BI systems.
  • Experience with national and international shipping processes is a plus.
  • A proactive, independent working style with a strong focus on solutions rather than problems.
  • Very good self‑organization, clear prioritization and high quality standards.
  • Analytical thinking with an eye for the big picture while not losing sight of the details.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and the dynamism to develop and implement new ideas in the shipping and logistics area.
  • A strong focus on delivering the best possible customer experience — beyond just shipping.
