Security Engineer

• Lead initiatives to advance EEI member companies as trusted energy and infrastructure partners to DoD and federal agencies, strengthening the role of investor-owned utilities in supporting national defense, mission readiness, and critical infrastructure security.
• Analyze, monitor, and advocate for authorities, contracting mechanisms, and funding tools that enable member companies to deliver secure, resilient energy to military installations and federal facilities, including through programs such as MILCON, ESPC, and UESC.
• Monitor and analyze federal policy, national security directives, DoD energy strategy, procurement trends, and grid resilience priorities to identify emerging risks and opportunities for EEI members, and translate findings into actionable guidance and policy positions.
• Plan, organize, and lead engagement between EEI members and senior DoD and federal agency officials through working groups, interagency roundtables, tabletop exercises, and resilience planning efforts to strengthen energy security partnerships and advance shared national security priorities.
• Develop policy documents, briefing materials, and strategic analyses on energy security and military partnership issues for senior EEI leadership, member executives, and federal agency audiences.
• Represent EEI at national security forums, DoD energy conferences, and interagency working groups; track and communicate developments in federal energy policy, defense infrastructure investment, and critical infrastructure protection that affect EEI members.
• Serve as EEIs subject matter expert on energy security, military installations, grid resilience, and defense energy policy, providing technical guidance and strategic counsel to EEI members, federal partners, and external stakeholders.

Director – Energy Security, Military Partnerships

• The Managing Director, Security and Internal Services has responsibility for EEIs physical security program, internal services operations, and facilities management.
• Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position sets strategic direction and ensures seamless day-to-day delivery across security, safety, facilities, and support services for EEIs headquarters and both internal and external events.
• The Managing Director oversees the Internal Services team and collaborates closely with EEIs Membership and Events team and other divisions to support EEIs mission.
• Some travel is required to support external events.
• Requires the ability and availability to report to the office during emergency situations, inclement weather, or unplanned closures when other staff are not expected to be present.
• Lead implementation of recommendations from security assessments and evaluations, including all future physical security reviews.
• Develop, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive Physical Security policy spanning the entire organization.
• Responsible for continuous monitoring of security threats to EEI, its staff, facility, and events.
• Spearhead EEIs efforts to cultivate a pervasive, organization-wide security culture through awareness programs and targeted training.
• Assume full accountability for contracted security services, including vendor selection, performance management, and contract compliance.
• Curate and deliver physical security training programs for employees and contractors.
• Oversee all aspects of executive security.
• Lead workplace safety programs and emergency preparedness initiatives, including evacuation procedures, CPR/AED training, and active assailant protocols.
• Conduct enterprise-wide risk and vulnerability assessments; implement mitigation strategies aligned with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate security logistics for high-profile external events, including liaison duties with event venues, EEI members, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
• Accountable for key elements of business continuity.
• The Managing Director provides strategic and operational oversight of EEIs Internal Services function, ensuring efficient and professional delivery of centralized support services.
• Holds accountability for the daily operations and maintenance of EEIs office space.
• Develops policies and establishes standards for parking, office space assignment, and other key workplace logistics related processes.
• Maintains senior-level relationship with building management, key contractors, and strategic facilities vendors, including real-estate broker, architects, and general contractors.
• In coordination with the Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary, oversee lease administration, physical due diligence, and facility transition planning for any future office relocations or build-outs.
• Direct all printing, reprographics, mailroom, shipping, and receiving operations.
• Oversee financial tracking, chargebacks, and reporting for internal services functions.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure ongoing compliance with organizational policies; coordinate with legal and finance teams for approvals.

Accounting Manager

• Provides essential support to EEI's Internal Accounting team by performing day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, and travel & expense functions
• Process and code vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and internal controls
• Assist with weekly payment runs, including check, ACH, and wire disbursements
• Monitor the AP inbox and serve as a first point of contact for internal stakeholders on payment status, invoice inquiries, and vendor-related questions
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and AP aging review
• Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor onboarding and W-9 collection
• Post and apply cash receipts, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
• Assist with invoice generation and batch uploads
• Monitor AR aging and assist with month-end reconciliation of AR subledger
• Support deferred revenue tracking and recognition in coordination with the accounting team
• Monitor the AR inbox and serve as a first point of contact for internal stakeholders on collection status, invoice inquiries, and member-related questions
• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with the company's T&E policy
• Identify and follow up on policy exceptions or non-compliant submissions with employees and managers
• Assist with corporate card program administration, including transaction import and reconciliation
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies in current AP/AR workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operational divisions to resolve billing and payment issues
