About the role

  • Own and execute EdgeUno’s sales strategy in Brazil, combining direct selling responsibilities with leadership of the local sales team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Brazilian sales team, ensuring strong pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and consistent execution.
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with telecom operators, ISPs, content owners, data center providers, and wholesale connectivity buyers.
  • Leverage an established industry network to proactively generate new business opportunities and expand EdgeUno’s footprint in the Brazilian market.
  • Manage and oversee the regional sales pipeline, leading negotiations and closing complex wholesale telecom deals.
  • Define, monitor, and enforce sales targets for both individual and team performance, aligned with company objectives.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer issues, coordinating with internal teams to resolve conflicts quickly and protect long term relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer demands to continuously refine sales strategy and positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with Pre Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure solutions are commercially viable and operationally executable.

Requirements

  • Mandatory experience in wholesale telecom sales, with direct exposure to products such as IP Transit, backbone connectivity, DIA, MPLS, EPL, Wave, Cloud, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience selling directly to carriers, ISPs, content providers, or large enterprise connectivity buyers.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring sales teams while maintaining individual sales responsibility.
  • Strong negotiation, account management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Brazilian telecom market and wholesale ecosystem.
  • Highly execution oriented, comfortable operating in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
  • Nice to Have Experience managing national or multi-regional sales teams.
  • Exposure to LATAM markets beyond Brazil.
