About the role

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams supporting task order execution
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
  • Ensure consistent sprint execution, team velocity, and delivery predictability
  • Coach teams on Agile best practices, DevSecOps integration, and continuous improvement
  • Translate program-level priorities into sprint-level execution plans
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams
  • Track and communicate sprint progress, risks, and blockers
  • Support release planning and alignment with integrated schedules
  • Identify, track, and actively drive resolution of impediments
  • Escalate risks with clear articulation of impacts and mitigation options
  • Maintain Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down/up, cycle time, etc.)
  • Provide clear, concise status reporting aligned with program expectations
  • Support creation of leadership-ready artifacts (status updates, risks, action tracking)
  • Coordinate team logistics and Agile ceremony scheduling
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes:
  • EOD submissions
  • Provisioning (email, PIV, GFE)
  • Exit/transfer documentation
  • Partner with Product Owners, SMEs, and government stakeholders to align priorities
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable follow-through
  • Promote Agile maturity and adoption of modern delivery practices
  • Contribute to lessons learned and best practice sharing across the program

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • 5–8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead in technical environments
  • Experience supporting complex programs with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps practices
  • Demonstrated experience managing risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination
  • Experience operating in high-oversight or government environments preferred
  • Ability to support program operations and team logistics (onboarding, access, compliance tasks)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical updates into clear status reporting
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and build trust across teams
