About the role
- Work as part of the development team and influence the design of systems and features as it relates to quality and correctness
- Manually test developers features and fixes: Frontend changes, Backend changes, Customer API changes
- Create automated regression and integration tests
- Influence how features and platform changes are designed and implemented by understanding projects from a business perspective and how the platform works
- Conduct post release checks like other members of the development team
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience as QA engineer in web development
- Experience building automated tests
- Experience creating well written bug reports
- Experience working at startups (plus)
- Knows how to use SQL
- Experience writing automated tests in Ruby
- Experience testing Ruby on Rails applications
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
