About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reporting to the Nuclear Controls team, you will take part in the full development cycle of technical proposals: creation and management of proposals
  • Analyze customer specifications and identify technical, regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Contribute to defining the commercial strategy and industrial concept, in coordination with the Sales teams
  • Define the technical scope of proposals (products, services, options)
  • Technical and economic structuring
  • Prepare cost estimates and provisional schedules with support from internal teams (Engineering departments, Project teams, Experts, Procurement)
  • Identify and analyze risks and opportunities (technical, schedule, contractual) and propose appropriate mitigation plans
  • Ensure the technical coherence and robustness of proposals
  • Provide technical support to Sales during clarification and negotiation phases
  • Participate in technical discussions and proposal reviews with customers
  • Help establish long-term relationships with key clients
  • Ensure technical and contractual handover to Project teams upon order
  • Capture lessons learned to improve future proposals
  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of sales support tools (product & service databases, catalogs, sales materials)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (engineering school or Master) in a technical field such as automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or instrumentation — or a technical diploma (BTS/DUT or equivalent) with significant experience in the energy industry (nuclear, oil & gas)
  • Awareness of nuclear safety, quality and regulatory requirements (ISO 19443, RCC‑E)
  • General knowledge of nuclear power plant systems (auxiliary systems, turbine, generator, etc.)
  • Good understanding of the industrial environment and its stakeholders
  • Ability to develop technical expertise in control and instrumentation (I&C) or control systems for one or more products and services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and problem‑solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a matrix and multicultural environment
  • Professional English (written and spoken)
