About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform powerflow analyses for renewable assets across priority regions.
Lead powerflow activities for EDF power solutions.
Conduct area-wide screening and identify transmission capacity for high-quality development locations.
Conduct deliverability studies, Quarterly Operating Limit (QOL) studies, and contingency analyses.
Assist Business Development with short-circuit, voltage, and thermal technical studies.
Manage interns/analysts and coordinate with external consultants.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience required (Manager) / Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience (Sr. Manager).
Prior experience running powerflow software and familiarity with ISO generator interconnection processes is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with TARA, PowerWorld, or similar powerflow tools.
Proficiency with Python automation, Excel, and MS Office Suite.
Working knowledge of MISO, PJM, SPP, CAISO, and/or ERCOT markets.
