About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and risk analysis for acquisition and divestiture transactions.
  • Assists in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt and tax equity financing arrangements with lenders and investors, supports credit approvals and closing processes.
  • Supports cross-functional transaction teams (Development, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Procurement) to ensure efficient and timely execution of M&A and project finance transactions.
  • Assists the entire due diligence process for potential target deals, covering financial, developmental and operational, legal, technological, and other relevant areas.
  • Identifies and researches project and platform acquisition opportunities across solar, wind, and storage.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred; CPA, CFA desirable.
  • 2 years of professional experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience preferred in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or finance.
  • Experience in EIA, ABB, Ventyx, SNL, SEIA / AWEA databases.
  • Experience in Python or R is a plus.
  • Experience in presentation software such as Tableau and dashboard development.
  • Experience building and using project finance and financial structuring models strongly desired.
