About the role
- Partner with clients and creatives to bring brand-enhancing work to market across social channels and the customer journey
- Unearth and articulate cultural insights and digital truths to inform strategy
- Develop, design, and conduct primary and secondary research, insights immersions, and stakeholder workshops
- Create insight-driven, actionable briefs and lead compelling briefing sessions (reactive and proactive)
- Present strategy to stakeholders and inspire teams to execute social-first work
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to implement short- and long-term online marketing strategies
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience working in social media or digital advertising as a strategist
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a digital, social, integrated marketing or communications agency
- Proven experience delivering effective digital/social campaigns for large, well-known consumer brands
- Understanding best practices across social channels
- Knowledge of influencers/tastemakers
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- A passion for social media from both branding and cultural perspectives
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a deadline-driven process
- Fluency in data and analytics and how data informs strategy and optimizations
- Strong self-motivated and self-starting personality
- Adept at identifying cultural trends and conducting primary and secondary research, insights immersions, and stakeholder workshops
