About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Uphold EDC's approach to quality-driven success.
Carry out electrical design work as required, working to project deadlines.
Assist modellers to produce detailed working drawings in 3D and scheme drawings.
Develop the project scope with the design team/client.
Follow EDC’s Environmental Management System (EMS), including all related policies, procedures, and training.
Perform duties in a manner that supports the company’s environmental objectives and sustainability commitments.
Work-from-home arrangements to be agreed with the line manager, with an expectation of three days in the office and flexibility to balance business and personal needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree qualification in Electrical Design Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of Electrical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
Proficient user of the following: Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)
Autodesk Applications (AutoCAD/Design Review)
Amtech, Relux or Dialux
Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.
Commercial sector knowledge/experience a strong advantage.
