About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Uphold EDC's approach to quality-driven success.
  • Carry out electrical design work as required, working to project deadlines.
  • Assist modellers to produce detailed working drawings in 3D and scheme drawings.
  • Develop the project scope with the design team/client.
  • Follow EDC’s Environmental Management System (EMS), including all related policies, procedures, and training.
  • Perform duties in a manner that supports the company’s environmental objectives and sustainability commitments.
  • Work-from-home arrangements to be agreed with the line manager, with an expectation of three days in the office and flexibility to balance business and personal needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree qualification in Electrical Design Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of Electrical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
  • Proficient user of the following: Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)
  • Autodesk Applications (AutoCAD/Design Review)
  • Amtech, Relux or Dialux
  • Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.
  • Commercial sector knowledge/experience a strong advantage.
